Microsoft to Enforce Number Matching for MFA App Users
As of 27th February 2023, Microsoft will enforce number matching on all MFA (multi-factor authentication) App users.
What will happen is when a user tries to login and receives a notification to the Authenticator app, a two or three digit number will be shown. The user will then need to type that same number into the app to complete the approval and log in to their account.
