The successful candidate will need to have experience working for a similar MSP and Microsoft Partner and must be able to demonstrate experience with supporting the following technologies: –
* Windows Server, Virtualisation and Microsoft Azure
* Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams
* Azure/365 features such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, Intune Endpoint Manager
* Security devices and firewalls, with experience of SonicWall firewalls preferred
* Ideally good working knowledge of PC and Server hardware to aid troubleshooting problems and installation work
* A methodical, diligent and efficient approach to working through multiple support tickets
* Ability to work individually, managing and prioritising support tickets
* Meeting strict SLAs and following procedures
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to both technical and non-technical clients at the appropriate level either over the phone, via email or face to face
* Liaising with leading vendors including Microsoft, Dell, HP, Acronis, StarWind, Sophos etc
In addition to being on our helpdesk you would also be expected to go out on-site to carry out both support, project and installation work.

Moving PEOPLE Limited is an independent coach company based in Blackburn, East Lancashire, with over 15 years’ experience in the sector.
As part of the monthly managed IT support service that NCS IT provide Moving PEOPLE with, we pro-actively monitor their systems to check for any abnormalities.
One of our helpdesk technicians noticed that a member of staff had interacted with a suspicious email (picked up using our Microsoft 365 Lighthouse MSP admin portal). The member of staff at Moving PEOPLE was not aware of this email being malicious and had not reported it to us.
However, our engineer caught it and rang the member of staff to change her password as a precaution therefore averting a potential malicious takeover of their email account and no interruption to service.
As the email had been picked up by NCS IT engineers, and dealt with accordingly, there was no downtime to service at Moving PEOPLE or any malicious takeover of the customer’s email account.
